I am honored to introduce myself as the new CEO of the St. Charles City-County Library. As someone who calls this community home, I know firsthand how important our libraries are in fostering learning, creativity, and connection. It is a privilege to lead an institution that plays such a vital role in the lives of so many.

Thank you to those who have shared comments of support and congratulations. It is much appreciated. For those with concerns, I appreciate your passion for the library and its future. I share your enthusiasm for the library, which prompted me to apply for this position, and I firmly believe that the best is yet to come.

For more than 24 years, I’ve served in St. Charles County administration, where I’ve had the privilege of managing public resources to support innovation and community growth. I value problem-solving, forward-thinking approaches, along with fiscal responsibility —qualities that I believe can help us build an even stronger and more accessible library system.

Libraries are evolving, and I am excited to work alongside our dedicated staff to ensure we continue to meet your needs.

Thank you for your ongoing support of our libraries. I look forward to working together to ensure our libraries remain an essential part of our community for years to come.
