Library to You Community Groups and Organizations

The Library offers a variety of services to community groups and organizations such as scout troops, Rotary Clubs, PTOs, church groups, non-profits, etc.

Library Tour
Bring your community group or organization in for a library tour today. Staff will explain how the library works and give a brief talk about resources. We are also available for story programs and book talks in the library (or your classroom).

The Library at your Event
Would you like Library representation at your next event or fair to talk about the services our Library offers and sign individuals up for library cards?

Ready to Read
Ready to Read (funded in part by the Library Foundation) provides Early Literacy Kits to various organizations, serving children age 0-5, in St. Charles County. Ready to Read kits contain literacy information and three books for the child to keep, with the goal of growing lifelong readers.

Programming
We are happy to present high-interest programs for all ages on topics such as STEM tinkering, crafting, and storytime to individuals in your group/organization.

Book a Speaker
Library staff are available to speak to community groups/organizations on a variety of library-related services or topics as arranged.

Grow Your Reader Parent Workshops
A children’s librarian will present a workshop to parents on the importance of reading to their children at an early age and discuss how to incorporate the five early literacy skills (reading, singing, talking, writing, and playing) into that activity.

The Storybook Walk
Enjoy a story as you walk a path. Storybook Walk stories are hand-picked by Library staff with pages posted at several stations along a trail. New stories are featured frequently at several locations around the county.
